Nuqtra is a biscript typeface — Arabic and Latin, designed together, not adapted from one to the other.
The Arabic script is contemporary and narrow, its italic slanted to match the angle of the Latin: a gesture of visual coherence, and a quiet form of respect between alphabets. The Latin draws from the strict geometry of DIN, then steps away from it — strokes more contrasted, more organic, less rigid. Fresher. Less certain of itself, in the best sense.
The two scripts coexist with deliberate harmony, whether set side by side, stacked, or loose in multilingual space. Nuqtra is available in a refined range of weights with alternate glyph sets, built as a variable font — for precision, subtlety, and typographic microdances.
